- Blue Colorado Spruce is a dense evergreen tree with a strong central leader and a distinctive and refined pyramidal form. A popular and much-sought-out evergreen accent tree with large stout branches and long, very pointy silvery-blue needles. Deer don't particularly care for this plant and will usually leave it alone in favor of tastier treats. It is very adaptable to both dry and moist growing conditions, but will not tolerate any standing water.

- Known for its shimmery color and long, pointy needles, the Hoopsii spruce stands out as the "truest blue" of the spruce family. It has a dense, upright profile, a little narrower than other blue spruce trees. For a solid screen, space your trees 8 to 12-feet apart, and in a few years, you will have a beautiful barrier against both eyes and the weather.

- This smaller, columnar, version of the classic Blue Spruce is just what you need to give you the look that you want without having to worry about it taking up all of your precious garden space. The 'Fastigiata' branching is held tightly upright close to the main trunk. Well drained soil is preferred, but it will perform in just about any soil except standing water.
